Hogsback is rich in waterfalls, and various hikes lead to the waterfalls, Big Tree, forests and mountain trails. See the hiking map under Contact us.
The waterfalls range from a 10 minute easy stroll through the arboretum to the 39 Steps Waterfall, a pleasant and relatively long amble up the Upper Thyume, or the more difficult and steep Kettle Spout and Madonna & Child Waterfalls.
The Spectacular Madonna & Child Waterfall.
The Amathole Hiking Trail ends, or begins, on Hog One in Hogsback. This trail is managed by Forestry. Check whether bedding and firewood will be provided before booking your hike.
